Right plant, wrong place can be a costly mistake in any garden and so can many other gardening mishaps. When you make the investment in a beautiful plant at a garden centre, you expect to be able to bring it home, pop it into place and have it grow and thrive in your garden. You definitely do not want it to wilt and die, but unfortunately it is far too commonly the case, and there can be a whole host of reasons why the lovely plant that once looked incredible on the shop shelf now looks sad and droopy.

 

So, a little knowledge and expert care really can go a long way when it comes to choosing plants and caring for them.
